Winter Warmup Is Upon Us

It has been a quiet few months. Looking back, I see that the last time we talked was when Kid took a softball to the eye. That was back in Oct I think. Well, just as Spring Training is starting, it's time to shake off the rust on the Beaverball blog and get people talking again. In 5 short weeks we will be playing ball. Hard to imagine as it is a balmy 36 degrees today. I am sure that you all have been working hard with your hitting and fielding coaches. I expect everyone to come to camp in better shape than they were last year.

But before we get too far ahead of ourselves, there are some other pressing issues at hand. Like the Winter Warm Up and the MVB selection. For those Beavers on the roster, head over to our yahoo site and let us know when what dates you CAN'T make the Beavers 'n Hooters event. Looks like only 4 have voted so far. We need to get this wrapped up this week so that we have ample time to coordinate. Because the most important part of BNH is the Most Valuable Beaver award ceremony. Time is needed to vote and then have the trophy engraved. The stats will be sent out and a poll will be started soon for your votes on the MVB for 2009.

Season starts on April 7, we have a lot to do before then. If you haven't voiced your opinion on what night you can't attend, do so now. Poll closes this Friday.
