For a second straight week softball was rained out today. Last week the storm rolled in about an hour before first pitch, this week, it rolled in over a day before first pitch. So the Beavers remain stuck at 8-0 this season.
Next games will be on June 10th (weather permitting) at 6pm. The games scheduled for May 27 and June 3 will be added to the end of the season.
In other news, most Beavers will be wearing new uniforms later this month. All but one Beaver ordered a new jersey and they are expected to be in for the June 17th game. That one Beaver who abstained...our catcher who claims he will continue to wear collared shirts for the remainder of the season. If that keeps him getting at least 2 hits a night, we'll live with it, though it shows no team unity.
